Position
Development Manager
Description

We seek an experienced fundraising professional who is both passionate and persistent. This position oversees a diverse portfolio with room to grow in major gifts work. In conjunction with our Executive Director, this person will be one of the most public-facing members of the team.

The successful candidate will have at least three to four years of experience in engaging donors, funders, and sponsors. They will work closely with our Executive Director, Operations Manager, and Program staff, on fundraising tasks such as events, year-end campaigns, fundraising planning, and more. This role will help us stop turning away students who cannot afford our life-changing programs. Our current operating budget is $970K. Global Visionaries invites youth from diverse socio-economic, racial, and ethnic backgrounds to be active leaders in their local and global communities. We foster leadership skills grounded in environmental and social justice. GV serves over 200 students from the US and 100 students from Guatemala annually. Through youth-led retreats, workshops, service projects, and a two-week immersion in Guatemala, our participants report a new capacity to be agents of change.
